| Strategic Alliances: A Synergistic Approach |
At IAP, we intend to develop strategic alliances with major philatelic organizations in the U.S. and abroad. This will allow us to leverage resources including:
- Access to libraries and archives
- Access to a staff of “experts”
- Access to experimental hardware
By doing this, we believe that IAP and our alliance partners will be able to:
- Reduce technical risk- Share and disseminate results
For IAP, these alliances allow us to dramatically reduce overhead. As a virtual organization we use modern technology to communicate, coordinate and disseminate information. Our directors perform their duties gratis as a labor of love and think of it as our legacy to the hobby we have loved for decades. Other than a small budget for ancillary hard costs, such as web site hosting, all of our funds go to fund research activities.
