IAP Membership Benefits
The major benefit of being an IAP member is the opportunity to give back to the hobby we love so well. Our funds will be used to create a legacy of scientific innovation and progress in philately!
...and, if that's not enough,
  • You will be helping IAP to coordinate research activities through collaborative relationships with other philatelic organizations so that the overall hobby gets the most "bang for its buck"
  • You may have an opportunity to work with some of the greatest philatelic minds and with state-of-the-art scientific equipment
  • You will receive a quarterly newsletter that not only presents IAP news, but also news about current philatelic research activities and interests around the U.S. and world
  • You will receive an annual book (planned) of technical papers reporting the results of our funded research efforts
  • You may attend our annual meeting in conjunction with the APS Stampshow, which has been selected  to maximize attendance and convenience for our members
  • You will have a pipeline into IAP to suggest funding research efforts that are important to you

...and, last but certainly not least,

The Reference Library, available on this Web Site, will be a constantly growing resource. It will point you toward scientific studies in books and articles that you may not have considered while doing your own research.
